General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern and I would like to suggest you don't straightaway jump to the diagnosis of lung cancer. But it cannot be told to be anything without physical examination and some tests. It could be the tail of your stomach called the pylorus which can also be inflamed as it empties food into your small bowel.

it could even be your large bowel or hepatic flexure as the first part of your colon comes up and turns right below your liver. if you have a history of colitis or inflammation of your colon, or constipation or lots of colon gas, that can also cause gurgling.

I would suggest getting a radiological examination to come to a conclusion, that is totally non-invasive and nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Maninder,
