What Causes Chest Discomfort And Wheezing?

Hello, I have a menigioma that measures 7 cm which I was diagnosed in March of 2013 which I didn't even know I had. Recently I was in the hospital again discharged after 10 days with pneumonia. Still having some chest discomfort and wheezing. I do not have asthma which was ruled out by my Pulmunlogist. Having severe headaches now. Taking pain medication and tylenol for pain. I will be seeing my eye doctor again in April to check for Glacuoma.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should get done repeat chest x ray and PFT ( pulmonary function test ).
There are two possibilities in your case.
1. Worsening of underlying pneumonia.
2. Post infectious bronchitis.
So repeat chest x ray is needed to rule out worsening of pneumonia.
And post pneumonia, bronchitis is common due to inflammation. So PFT is needed to rule out this.
Wheezing is the classic feature of bronchitis.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
