Hello and welcome,

Please do not worry so much. This condition is usually due to a birth defect.

Normally the cervix develops in two parts and then they fuse to unite and there is a single cervix. Sometimes they may not unite completely and so there is a bifid cervix or a double cervix. Many times this is associated with abnormalities of the uterus.

A test called hysterosalpingography helps to determine the nature of the uterus and if it is normal or not.

If the uterus is normal but just displaced then pregnancy is possible. You may need assisted reporductive techniques like intrauterine insemination if the cervix posses a problem. I have had many women that conceived naturally and this anomaly was detected for the first time during pregnancy. They had healthy babies.

Even if there is an abnormality in the uterus it can be corrected by surgical techniques. It seems less likely in your case as the only problem was a tilted uterus which should not cause much problem in conception.

So see your gynecologist and get a hysterosalpingography done. If the uterus is normal in size and shape there is no need to worry further.

Hope this satisfies your query.
