What Causes Cervical Pain Along With Numbness In The Arms?

Hi Doctor, I have been diagnosed with cervical neck, there is spasm and pain. The initial symptoms were numbness and tingling feeling in arms. The x ray is done. they say there is a pinched nerve causing all these. Asked me to do light neck exercises and cervical traction. But besides all the above mentioned conditions I have rapid heart beat, which is constant and slightly feel light headed. N slight discomfort in left ear too.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi,
Thanks for the query, I understand your concern.
Numbness in arms, discomfort in ear are due to cervical spondylitis causing nerve pinching.
Similarly cervical spondylitis with sympathetic nerve compression can cause rapid heart rate & lightheaded feel too.
You need to consult the spinal surgeon for treatment either by ADCF surgery on spine to relieve the pressure on nerves ( because there is no effect of palliative treatment )/ consult a cardiologist for fast heart rate.
Thanks
