What Causes Cervical Cancer?
hello, my mom just told me yesterday that she has to get surgery. she has cervical cancer. my dad and sister have not told me anything about it or the kemo thats shes going to go through i want to know everything and all the things that can happen to her. please help me.

If your mother is undergoing surgery for cervical cancer then she is probably suffering from early stage cervical cancer. Mostly this cancer gets cured by surgery alone and does not need any further treatment. Sometimes however, the pathology report says that it is of a higher stage than expected, in which case she will require post-operative radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Overall, the chances of her getting cured are high.
