What Causes Cardiac Pain And Acidity After Starting Glimestar M1 For Diabetes?

Sir, i am a diabetic patient, just 1 month before i was diagnosed, My sugar level is in the fasting is 137 and after food is 252 was present, for that the doctor prescribed the tablet Glimester M1 . i am using the same past three weeks, but i am feeling unusual thinking and like cardiac pain after also the acidity. Doctor please advice me the above complication which is i mention are due to this tablet.

Hello and welcome.

The main aspect is to check whether your blood glucose levels are being better controlled with the new medication. Of it is, then all we need to do is to introduce an antacid like omeprazole or ranitidine. But if your blood glucose level is not showing much improvement then we should consider replacing the glimester M1.
