What causes canker sore?

I think I had a chancre sore when I was 8 years old. I remember that I had been molested back then. The sore popped up at least one more time. I don't remember everything because it was a long time ago. I am 45 now and I had been reading that syphilis can take years to show symptoms.

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..what u had might be herpetic gingivostomatitis,,so any ways dont worry ..get all blood test done for syphilis, just to rule out.. u could visit general physician..hope it helps,,tc
