What Causes Calf And Feet Heat Sensation, Fingertips And Toes Tingling?

Hello - I am a 40 year old male who spends most of my work time sitting in an office. About 1 1/2 months ago I came to the office and noticed that I had muscle twitching in both calves and my mind was in a fog. As a side note: I had been suffering from diarrhea off on on for about 6 months. I also drank a lot of coffee throughout the day while at work. I have eliminated the coffee completely since the episode and tried to stay hydrated. My muscle twitching for the most part has eliminated. I went to my GP about two (2) weeks later. I stated to him that the calve muscle twitches had subsided but that I had periodic numbness in my fingertips and toes (usually at night) along with some flash heat sensations (last a couple of seconds) on my feet. He ran blood test and all the test came back fine. The blood test checked for diabetes, Thyroid issues or B12 deficiency - no apparent problems. They also did a EEG on my foot/leg and lower back and no nerve damage. He suggested to stop with the coffee and get some exercise (I am about 30 lbs overweight). With wanting to get a second opinion I went to a local neurologist (obviously concerned about a condition of MS or ALS) and she did a visual exam (no swelling) ran some more blood test along with an xray of my back (to see if there is a pinched nerve) and everything came back fine except for a Vitamin D deficiency (I tested at a 15 and apparently I should have been in the 30 s) She stated that in her opinion that I did not have MS or ALS and we talked about exercise and eating a heather diet (in which I agree). My GP stated that I should take over the counter Vitamin D at 2000 icu. Since the visit I have been taking a Multivitamin, Vitamin D, Vitamin B6. The problem is that I still have tingling in my toes along the heat sensation in a portion of my left calf and feet. I am not sure where I should go next. There however has not been any pain associated with the symptoms. Thanks in advance for any advice.

After going through your query I concluded that you are having vitamin D3 deficiency. You are talking is normal daily requirement dose of 2000 IU. In my opinion you should take therapeutic dose of Vitamin D3 that is
60000 IU weekly for at least 10 weeks. Along with this you can take EvionLC for nearly 20 days. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
