What Causes Calcium Deposit On The Heart Of The Fetus?

My daughter is pregnant with their 2nd child. They did a 3-D ultrasound on her today because I have dextrocardia and they wanted to make sure the baby's heart is ok. They say a bright spot (calcium deposit) on the baby's heart and said this increased the baby's chance of having Down Syndrome. What causes this calcium deposit? Is it hereditary?

no madam it is just a spot whether it has calcium or magnesium no one knows. this ultrasound finding is a soft marker for downs meaning not everybody with this kinda spot will have downs but few kids who have had such spots have developed downs. if have done ur not scan and triple testing u can be assured that the possibility is very unlikely
