What Causes Burping Post Estroven And Furosemide Intake?

I am on a lot of medicine. (about 20) My internal med. dr. put me on Estroven because I complain about being hot all the time. My nephrologist added furosemide 20mg because she thought there was too much water in my leg. About 2 hours after I eat my breakfast and take my meds, I am burning up! The sweat just pours off of me, my clothes are wet and I am embarassed and mad that nothing works. I had uterine cancer in 06/91

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Cannot say in your particular case but generally, rather a lot of changes can cause hot flashes, certainly changes in estrogen levels. Also thyroid levels can affect hot flashes and diabetes. It can be a medication effect but it probably isn't.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
