What causes burning, watery eye with running nose?

Hello, I have one burning and watery eye as well as a burning and running nostril on the same side. I have also been sneezing all day. I had influenza A+ over a week ago and got over it, then developed another sore throat and got over it, now this? Is it still the flu or potential allergies from the hot indoors and cool outside?

Hello
Let me explain the few facts about the allergy .
Mite , dust , pollen , hay , cotton thread fiber ( very fine ) mold, sudden change of temperature in atmosphere ( as you mentioned in your query that hot inside , cool outside), smokes all these are predisposing factors of allergy and at last ( if not treated well ) this allergy turn into asthma .
Now symptoms of allergy are running nose, watery eyes, itching over face , redness in eyes , blockage of nostril one or both . There develops whistling sound during breathing in few patients and mild hard breathing. Sometimes patient also develop pain in throat known as sore throat .
In your case influenza is over and you don't have any flu .
In my opinion all symptoms are an indication of allergy .
Hot coffee and steam inhalation provide much needed relief.
In my patient I prescribe monteleukast+ fexofenadine in combo pack once or twice according to need.
Since this is prescription drug , so please consult a physician and get his opinion.
Good luck.
