What Causes Burning Urination And Redness At The Urethral Meatus?

I started feeling symptoms 6 days ago. The tip of my penis burned when I urinated. It became red around the meatus - urethra opening. I went to a walk-in clinic and the doctor prescribed Ciprofloxacin for a UTI. I ve been taking these antibiotics for 5 days. It still burns when I urinate. There is now a red dot on the head of my penis. The meatus urinary opening also looks swollen. Can you help?
