What Causes Burning Urination Along With Bladder Pain And Lower Back Pain?

Since this last Sunday morning I have had severe pain in my bladder, left area where my ovary is located, minor lower back pain and some pain during intercourse. It is just getting worse. However here is a little back history: I have not had a NORMAL regular period since July 28th 2016, however august 1st and august 30th I bled for one day and one day only both dates which is very unusual being that my periods are always regular and on time (4-5 days every 28days) I have taken 8 @ home pregnancy tests, no digital. I ve used the Pink dye tests (aka First Response as they are more accurate) ALL of them have been negative. I had a tubal litigation in 2014. I was diagnosed with HPV in 2007, had to have the LEEP procedure done due to an abnormal pap an showings of cancer cells developing on my cervix (outpatient procedure) to remove cells. Prior to that, 2006 I had my first child, vaginal full term, healthy pregnancy. Since 2007 I have had 3 vaginal, healthy full term pregnancies. in 2013 my PAP came back normal after having several PAPs done every 6 months. Next pap was after my last pregnancy in May 2014, a few months before my tubal litigation. It came back normal. I have NOT had one since. Getting to the point here, as I said Sunday I had severe pain as said above. Nausea accompanied these and all I wanted to do was eat and sleep. Monday and Tuesday I seemed to be feeling better, no issues. Unfortunately today I woke up in a lot of pain (on a scale from 1-10 id say 6 to 7). I kept myself hydrated today as well as drank cranberry juice and got OTC Azo for the bladder pain. Within these last few hours the pain is just getting worse. I don t have much of an appetite, my head hurts. My urine smells very fowl. It is not cloudy, however has an off yellow that s really hard to describe. When I pee I can literally FEEL chunks come out. They are mushy looking and in clumps and when I say I can FEEL them, there is no pain when I feel them. They just feel weird coming out. YES I have been peeing in a clear, cleaned, glass cup so I can see what s coming out. I have NEVER had this happen to me before. There is a SMALL, and I say SMALL/Light amount of blood when I wipe. I do not have to strain when I pee at all. Sometimes, it almost just wants to come out on its own due to the pain hurting so bad that even trying to hold it an make it to the bathroom is almost impossible with out my eyes watering up. It burns when I pee, but AFTER I pee, my bladder feels terrible. It throbs in pain and gets tormented again when I have to pee. When I feel around my left ovary area, also around my bladder on the left side, the whole area feels hard and feels warm. I am not running a fever and have not at all. I have no insurance, I am low income but I am about to drive myself to the ER because it s THAT BAD. It s why I have not gone to the Dr. Right now my lower left side of back is in pain along with my ovary.

The picture you describe is suggestive of urinary tract infection.

Another possibility is an ovarian cyst or uterine fibroid.

I'd recommend the following:

Do urine analysis. it's of low cost, fast and informative.
If it was positive for infection, proceed to urine culture. This is done to determine the most effective antibiotic for this infection.

A pelvic ultrasound. This is a good informative examination of the uterus, ovaries, and urinary bladder. It may show a reason for the urinary infection or bladder irritation.

For any further concerns please feel free to write us.
