General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Your main complaint is chest pain radiating to throat. Initially started with chest pain. You haven't really mentioned your age.
If you are above 40, kindly get yourself tested for any heart diseases. Ecg is the one being the initial test. So for that visit cardiologist.
Any chest pain should be considered as cardiac related unless otherwise proved. Even though you are less than 40 and have strong family history.
If this turns out to be normal, go for upper GI Endoscopy. It will rule out any GERD or ulcers or any pathology.
I find this answer helpful
