What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina And Headache?

My partner (male) has Herpes 2.We been together over 3,5 years and I (female) was not diagnosed, I asked to be tested. But docs refused because I do not have ulcers in my genitals. However, I had some kind of recurrent infection that I was treated for (did not have this until this relationship). I feel burning of the skin of the labia, it is read. Now I have some red scar that looks as a red stripe under one of my armpit. I itches and has dry surface to touch. I feel as another armpit starts it too. My head hurts and I noticed some slur in my speech... What are the chances that this due to me having the virus, even if I don t have blisters on genitals? I read that if untreated it causes brain damages, etc. How can I convince my doctor to test me? I am so anxious and hope you can advice. Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query.
I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
These symptoms and signs are suggestive of STD especially if there is associated pain, fever, urethral discharge and recent sexual intercourse. So this is the first thing to rule out by doing STD testing. Second, it may be sign of uroinfection or urinary stones and some other genital infection but this is less common. In every case, antibiotic therapy may be required so test should be done as soon as possible so that appropriate treatment can be started. Till that try to drink plenty of fluids, avoid sexual intercourse and rest.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
