What Causes Burning Sensation In The Tongue Along With Throat Pain?

Since March 2016 every day I have been living with these symptoms: Everything is on the right side. Sore burning tongue, throat pain, ear pain and head and pressure pain which feel more puffy at the top. Can t lay on the right sight side of head due to pain. No one knows what I have, not even the ENT who did an x-ray of my throat to my stomach. I know that the these line across my tongue at the back are quite swollen and hurt but all the doctor are all aware of this, but say there is nothing that they can since they see nothing.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to a sore throat or canker sores. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
