What Causes Burning Sensation In The Throat With Mild Cough?

Had upper endoscopy this morning. Woke up in recovery coughing. All day I ve had this burning and draining in back of throat like from my nose down into throat. The nurse said it was from the oxygen. Feels like I was choking on something now just Nasale and throat burning

I think yours are symptoms caused by the procedure and should subside gradually.

Rest and take a lot of fluids.

It is true that oxygen may cause some mucosal irritation.
