What Causes Burning Sensation In The Right Nipple?
Hi, just last night I woke up with a burning sensation in my right nipple. I am 47, have no implants or surgery, and am generally active and healthy. The burning sensation lasted 2-3 min and happened twice last night and once this morning. It wasn t excruciating, but was maybe a 7 on the pain scale. Very weird. Should I follow up with my doc?

It can happen often without any cause and will settle by itself in most of the cases. If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and get evaluated to rule out conditions like mastitis.
