General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

I have gone through your query, i will try to give you suggestion which will be helpful to you.

As you have v mentioned that your prostate is fine, urinary tract infection should be ruled out.
I would have asked for urine routine, and based on the report need for the antibiotic will be decided.
Presently drink plenty of water and drink cranberry juice which has found to be helpful

I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. I will be glad to help you in case if you have any further queries.

Wish you speedy recovery. Take care.
