What Causes Burning Sensation In Left Side Of Chest After Aortic Valve Replacement?

hi i am a 47 yr old female cardiac patient had aortic valcve replacement and Thoracic anuerysm repair in 2013, have been having burning in left side of chest daily and occaional sharp flashes of pain... cardiologist says it is not cardiac may be pulmonary, but now i am thinking could it be a hernia? any thoughts on which way to proceedi do not have any trouble breating and am very athletic,

I can understand your concern.
Burning pain in left side of chest is mostly due to GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this, the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause burning pain.
So avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals. Avoid stress and anxiety.
Start Proton pump inhibitors. Go for walk after meals.
You will mostly improvement by these lifestyle modifications.
