What Causes Burning Sensation In Forehead Despite Having Prolactinoma?

Hello, I have a burning sensation in my forehead. I also have a prolactinoma 0.8 sm that touches an optic nerve for 15 years at least. I am afraid that burning my indicate that prolactinoma conditions are unstable. The prolactin level was 13 in Feb. My vision gets worse sometime, almost to the extent that I feel dizzy for a short time. I take dostinex 500 mg per week. When I tried to be off medication prolactin level got up to 260

The burning sensation may or may not be related.

Burning skin sensations are usually related to abnormal nerve structure and function.
This is called peripheral neuropathy.

There are a number of other different possible causes including vitamin b 12 or folate deficiency, diabetes, trauma, ,liver disease, kidney disease.

It would be best to see your doctor about this and any other symptoms that you are experiencing so the cause can be determined.
