What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination In Pregnancy Period?

I am almost 28 wks pregnant and it burns once in a while when I urinate. And I've also noticed little white particles in my urethra. I'm not sure what it is but I cleaned it out with a q tip and it's quite sensitive and sore right now. Should I see a dr ASAP?

Most of the times burning sensation is due to infection, may be due to passing of crystals in urine.
Urine examination will reveal the cause. If infection, get it treated promptly to avoid serious complications like high blood pressure, kidney affection, etc. Get the urine tested for culture and sensitivity and accordingly start the antibiotics with the advice of your Obstetrician. Some antibiotics like tetracyclin goup should not be taken during pregnancy as they have bad effect on the foetus. Drink plenty of water.
If crystals are found, find out which crystals are they. Accordingly you will have to modify your diet. Drink plenty of water so that the crystals get disssolved in urine. Some may require urinary alkalinezers also.
Report to your Obstetrician for further treatment.
