What Causes Burning Sensation Around The Right Side Of The Penis?

For the last few days, I feel some burning skin irritation around the right side of the penile shaft (close to the tip). There is no noticeable redness, no blisters or other visible signs. Just that burning-like feeling. The pain subsides if there is no sitting pressure on the organ. Sometimes during the day I feel nothing. The discomfort returns on other occasions. Please advise on what to do. Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What problem you could be having is fungal (yeast) infection of skin on the penis.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Wash the area with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon thrice daily.
2. Apply topically Clotrmazole cream.
3. Apply moisturizer cream/lotion during bedtime.
4. Wear loose fitting undergarments to provide proper ventilation and avoid friction in the affected area.
5. Abstain from sexual activities till the symptoms subside completely.
Maintain clean and good personal hygiene.
Gradually, your symptoms should subside and you should feel better.
