What Causes Burning Sensation After Taking Tri Sprintec Without Water?
Hello, tonight I took fluoxetine and my birth control (tri-sprintec) without water. I now (about an hour later) have a burning pain in my chest like the pill is stuck or something. I am concerned now that I googled and read the health issues that can be caused by taking pills without water. Is there anything I can do now that I have already taken the pills? I drank a large glass of water after I felt the chest pain but it is still there.

I really appreciate your concern, always drink some water while you take the medicine although this may not cause anything wrong if you just swallowed the pill without water but later it is important to drink water, here in your case no need to worry the pill might caused some local irritation and this would be fine hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
