What Causes Burning During Urination And Blood In Urine?
Dear Doctor,
I'm a 30 years old man, married. Two months back i have started to feel some burn during urination and sometimes urine was followed by small drops of blood. Few days later i totally lost my sexual desire along with the erection i used to have.
i went to the doctor maybe 10 days after all this. he did a prostate massage and urine test just after, the result showed 30 blood cells which is too high according to him, he gave me Tarivid 200 twice a day for 3 weeks, i felt better during that period. but a week after completing it everything seems to start over (pain + sexual weekness), i went back to him and i did the urine + semen culture with all negative results. now he gave me Cibrobay 500 for 6 weeks !!!! i'm done with the second week now .. feeling pain while ejaculating and pain (feeling of burn) just where the prostate located.
what do you think about this case, and is the treatment i'm having is enough and do you think i need more tests and will it recover 100% after those 6 weeks or ill start over with new antibiotic

* Needs evaluation with high resolution ultrasound of prostate gland ,
Intravenous antibiotics in accordance to that rather than taking another
oral antibiotic which is not going to work to that extent .
