What Causes Bumps On The Scalp And Severe Headache?
Thank you, I have these bumps, i guess you would call them, that have appeared on top of my head they are very sore to touch and i have bad headaches...i first found them about a year ago and thought it was maybe new shampoo or hair dye that caused them...they go away but then will come back later on...this time they appeared about a month ago and are the worse they have been...there is only about 6 of them this time...any idea what it could be?
Hi. As per your case history you are having either folliculitis on scalp or allergic reaction. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply an antifungal plus steroid lotion like candid-b once daily on affected skin. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, antifungals taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
