What Causes Bumps On Lips Of Vagina

I have small white, painless bumps on the lips of my vagina. They dont itch and when I squeeze them they dont pop or anything. There are a lot of them and I ve had them for as long as I can remember. I am 15 and not sexually active. They are only around the lips of my vagina. What are they?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. These bumps on the lips of the vagina which are non itchy and not painful, are likely to be enlarged sebaceous glands. They are not harmful.
Still, I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined to rule out any other pathology.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr Deepti Verma
