What Causes Bumps At Back Of Tongue And Difficulty Swallowing?

Hi so this morning my tounge was fine. I worked all day using a leaf blower. I did end up tasting fumes quiet a few times today. I did have a couple cups of coffee as well. I didnt eat until I got home. I was eating a burger and it hurt really bad to swallow. I looked the mirror and very vaguely I can see i have bumps at the back of my tounge that reacted when food touched them. I did some research and it sounds like circumvalet problems. I ve never experienced these issues. I am a smoker but not excissively. I could do better about oral hygiene but I m not neglegent I would think. Any information on how to deal with my issue?

Hello read through your query.I feel that the problem is due to inflammed taste buds. Its nothing to be worried of.It can be done by doing tongue scraping daily,do chlorhexidine mouthrinse after brushing, apply nystatin(antifungal gel) on the areas of bumps,do warm salt water gargle daily as many times as possible.Take multivitamin tablets and also take lots of citrus fruits.Follow these for 2 weeks and you will be fine.Hope you are benefitted something.Have a healthy day!!!
