What Causes Bump On Back Of Head After A Seizure Attack Post Brain Injury?

I sustained a traumatic brain injury 3 months ago. I now have seizures as a result. Last night i had a seizure and now this morning i realized i have a bump on the lower backside of my head. It hurts and hurts worse to the touch. I did not hit my head though.

Such kind of head bump if you did not hit can be from hair follicle infection or other scalp issue. You need to get it physically evaluated from a physician.

Usually in patients with seizure attacks, such lesions are commonly seen due to physical trauma and they remain unaware of the fact that they actually hit somewhere.



Hot fomentation and Ibuprofen by mouth will be very helpful and if this is infection, you may need antibiotics like Clindamycin by mouth. Your physician will help you for the same.
