Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concern. The fact that you had a missed abortion suggests that there could be either some genetic defect in the embryo incompatible with further development or some hormone imbalance. The subsequent mid-cycle spotting suggests breakthrough bleeding. Excessive estrogen activity can lead to a thickened endometrium and thereby a bulkier uterus and also to breakthrough bleeds. I would suggest a proper evaluation including hormone profile, pelvic sonogram, menstrual calendar plotting to establish ovulation status etc., to plan further management. Please maintain a healthy weight, regular exercise and a healthy diet. Take care.
