What Causes Bulky Ovaries?
Both ovaries are bulky and show the presence of multiple small peripheral subcentimeter follicles with an echogenic stroma.

Hi,
In PCOD, there is failure of ovulation,so the mature follicles do not rupture. They collect on ovary to increase bulkiness of ovary. Because of hormonal imbalance caused due to PCOD, the uterus and its muscle get increased in size also.
