What Causes Bulging Of The Ribcage In A Toddler?

My son is 3 yr old and went to the Dr today, they put him on zithromax and gave him a nebulizer tratment, we got a chest x-ray, now hours later he seemed to have labored breathing when he fell asleep so I gave him another nebulizer treatment, it looks like the bottom part of the rib cage is buldging out (where they come together above his belly) what does this mean? Should I take him the the er?

hi..I think he have viral or alleric infection in chest ..so thats why he have problem in breathing.keep nebuilise child at home...keep.away it from dust..
