General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From the description provided, it is suggestive of possible rectus sheath hernia. A clinical examination can confirm the diagnosis. Management (surgical/nonsurgical) depends on the severity of the issue and the general condition of the patient.

Please follow up with her primary provider for necessary management and referral to a surgeon if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
