Hello,

Bulge on the right side below the rib cage is commonly enlarged liver (hepatitis, cirrhosis, etc). However, the other medical conditions that can cause similar symptoms are hernia, gastrointestinal disease, rib fracture, lipoma, costochondritis, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get CBC, urinalysis, other blood work outs, imaging tests (X-ray, CT, MRI) to detect the pathology causing the pain and discomfort.

Your treatment will be according to the pathology detected and the severity of your symptoms. Get treated at the earliest. In the meantime, take boiled food and drink boiled water. Do not eat food that is cooked in oil and have spices. Eat semi solid food like oats, khichri, plain porridge, etc that can be easily digested. Avoid eating raw fruits and vegetable. Avoid addictions if any. You can take acetaminophen, one SOS for relief from pain. Take liver tonics & digestives to feel better.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
