What Causes Bubble Over The Belly Button During Pregnancy?

I have had sort of a bubble over my belly button for a few years when I press it it feels like air releasing but now I m 5 months pregnant and its more noticeable and comes up more frequently ... I have had 5 sonigrams during this pregnancy and it has not been mentioned, should I be concerned

The bubble area over the umbilicus may be an umbilical hernia.

An umbilical hernia occurs when fatty tissue or part of the bowel protrudes through an umbilical opening in the abdominal muscles.

In many cases, it is minor and no treatment is needed but if it is increasing in size or disturbing you then should see your doctor for assessment.
