What Causes Bubble Like Swelling On Lips?
No one seems to know the cause of what looks like millions of tiny bubbles on the inside of my bottom lip. Feels very dry/rough. Some days I can actually SEE swelling, but mostly my top and bottom lip feel very dry and swollen to my mouth. I feel a slight tinging (as if from after coming off of novacaine at the dentist. I am very bad about chewing the inside of my mouth and have been since I have been a little girl. could I have damaged the tissue in my mouth? I am 57 and began with this problem about 9 months ago.

it's a viral lesion, herpes zoster - self limiting unless associated pain where in definitive treatment would be required.
