What Causes Bruising And Pain On My Nose Bridge After An Injury?

my dog headbutted me in the nose yesterday, it was swollen and tender all day. now I feel and see what must be a piece of cartilage on the bridge of my nose. i have slight bruising and redness from glasses and a lot of pain. is my nose broken, and can the cartilage be fixed?

Do you see any bent of nasal bridge to one side? Pain,swelling,bruising are all signs of nasal bone fracture.To exclude fracture clinical examination and x ray nasal bone has to be done.Mean while apply ice packs over nose.
