What Causes Brownish Orange Mucus Discharge With Very Loose Stool?

I have been having problems with my bowels for the past month or so. they went from regular to very soft and now I can be standing and feels like I am having one but all that is coming out is mucus like, it was a brownish orange to now is very clear. I have also lost around 10 pounds in the last 4-6 weeks. what can be going on with me.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
By going through the symptoms you are experiencing what you have described, it appears that you are suffering from amoebic dysentery.
Kindly get your stool examination done to look for ova, cyst, microscopy and occult blood.
If it indicates amoebic infection, you need to take Tablet. Secnidazole Forte 2 tablet stat. Drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself well hydrated. You can use Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) to replenish fluids and electrolytes.
