What Causes Brownish Discharge After Copper IUD Insertion?
Hi, I just got a copper IUD inserted 5 days ago, during my period as recommended. For the past two days I have had a brownish discharge and I m just wondering wether it is something I should be worried about. It doesn t smell funky in my opinion (or at least not strong enough for me to notice it does) and I have no other weird symptoms such as itching or anything. My gynecologist prescribed an antibiotic I took for these past 5 days to prevent any infection though so I m just curious if this discharge is normal or not. It s thick and just really light brown. Thank you !
