What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge?
Hi, I m 19 years old. For the past 2 weeks I have had an abnormal vaginal discharge, brown and gooey/stringy with no odor. Its getting heavier and clots are coming out and now its turning from brown to bright red with lower abdominal cramping. What could this be?

Hello
Vaginal discharge may be due to infection.You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,culture and sensitivity of discharge material.
You may also need ultrasound of pelvis to exclude other causes.
You may need to take antibiotics after evaluation.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
