What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After A Gallbladder Removal Surgery?
I just had gallbladder removal surgery today, I m 7 and 1 1/2 hrs post opI m still in pretty bad pain, obviously but still feel as I am getting progressively better. My question/problem I have is; is it normal as a 36 yo female, still get a menstral cycle, I am not due for my period for another 2 and a half weeks. I am experiencing a brown vaginal discharge, somewhat of what I would experience at the end I m my cycle, is this abnormal? Thank you for your response. Sincerely, Sharon Dunbar

Any surgery or any other stressful event can cause hormonal imbalance. This would make an irregularity in the cycle. He would take some days to correct or a course of hormones (given by your gynecologist) would correct it.
