What Causes Brown Vaginal Bleeding?

Last week I went to the doctor because I had brownish blood in my liner but it wasn t heavy. He did an ultrasound and said I was not as far long as they thought or my body was trying to miscarry. We did labs on Monday afternoon that were around 4,000 and then did labs on wednesday morning and they were only around 5,000. He said wait a week and come back but to prepare for a miscarriage. So for over a week now I have had the brown bleeding in my liner but it s not heavy. Any ideas of whats going on? I haven t had any clots but I sometimes have tiny tissue like particles when I pee.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Your doctor is suspecting a miscarriage due to the bleeding, but bleeding during the first trimester is quite commonly encountered and considered as a threatened abortion. But this can be controlled (although not always) but with the help of medications, and you should take this up with your doctor.

But I am unsure about the details and of course your doctor would know best, but at the current rate of how things are going it does sound like you could end up miscarrying, I am sorry about this.

Best wishes.
