Hi my last period started on the 28/02/11 I did a pregnancy test last week which showed positive, for the past week I have had a split between soft stools and diarrhea and today i found that i had a tiny amount of pink discharge when i wiped, and since then its been a small amount of brown sticky looking discharge, what is this? I still have all my pregnancy symptoms, no extra pain than usual so bit confused, hope you can help?

Hi..its better to go for a transvaginal ultrasound so that we can be sure that you have a viable (living) intrauterine pregnancy..if so, your discharge is normal and it may be from your anal canal..you should take plenty of fluids, high fiber diet and stool softener if required..a gynecological examination would be helpful to rule out any pathological vaginal discharge otherwise..
