What Causes Brown Spotting After Menstruation?

Hi, I have had my period for 6 years now, and just started experiencing large amounts of brown discharge for more than 3 days. I originally thought it was implantation bleeding and got a HPT, which came back negative, so now I m convinced it s spotting. What worries me is that I ve never spotted before. Is this normal?

I really appreciate your concern, you have not mentioned your age because after the age of 30 years spotting is very common phenomenon and this is happens due to hormone changes due to premenopausal and no need to worry about this, hope this information helps.
