What Causes Brown Spots On Ankles And Feet?

Noticed brown spots (like freckles) on ankles and feet with slight swelling of legs. When sitting down for a period of time 30-45 minutes and quickly get up I experience slight pain and numbness in feet. On a scale of 1-10 for pain level I would give it a 5 or 6 I am a 39 year old caucasian male who has a history of sarcoidosis (2003) but have not had any major symptons following 2003

Hi.
As per your case history you are having pigmented purpura dermatosis.
My treatment advice is -
1.Avoid standing for long time as it may worsen the condition.
2. Take a vitamin c supplement and vitamin b12 supplement once daily for both skin lesions and numbness.
3. Apply a calcium dobisilate cream (Osil cream) twice daily on the spots.
It may take 4-6 months for complete recovery.
