Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. It is common for some bleeding followed by light colored discharge to be seen after an abortion or a delivery. This can be seen for up to two weeks in most cases. If there is no itching or foul smell/pain, you can ignore the discharge and go for a regular follow up as scheduled. White discharge is common as the endometrial shedding becomes complete. If the discharge is profuse or irritating, you need to have a clinical evaluation. A follow up sonogram is a must to ensure completion of the process. Hope this helps.
