What Causes Breathlessness With Lump In The Throat?

I have been suffering for 4 months now with no help from anyone. I first start with breathing difficulty followed by a feeling of a lump/obstruction in the throat. When I yawn I have a bad taste and I still suffer from the "lump in the throat". I have had test after test. I am being treated for my asthma which they thought could be a cause but obviously not. I saw an ENT specialist who didn't give any real reason, I do have bad sinusitis and had small tonsil stones but he advised that this may not be the cause.

Any suggestions?

Hi welcome to HCM...

Noted symptoms you are describing suggest toward asthma.
But you said you have doubt regarding it.
For confirmation I will suggest you to do spirometry pulmonary function test....

It will also detect COPD chronic obstructive pulmonary disease...

Do you have smoking history????

Causative treatment done....

Chronic pharyngitis can lead lump feeling in throat .So examine your post throat for inflammation

Finally let me know you sometime anxiety attack can lead such presentation.
So Avoid it....
