Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum

The description given by you could be related to Eustachian tube dysfunction. As you had noticed some relief with oral steroids, it would be wiser to use a safer version of steroid, i.e. intranasal steroid spray. Do steam inhalation and drink plenty of warm water. Avoid smoking, chilled food and beverages and smoking.
