What Causes Breathing Difficulty After Having Fritos?

My father ate something yesterday, Fritos, and he felt one go down the wrong pipe. He feels like it s scratchy but he can breath and is not choking. He has an uncomfortable feeling since he can Feel the frito still there. Should I take him to the ER?

It is a relief that he is not choking. Yes, you must take him to the ER IMMEDIATELY. The Frito might move and block off his airway, or rupture through his oesophagus or trachea, or become the starting point for an infection.
