Hello,

I can understand your anxiety and discomfort as this was an issue of miscarriage. Miscarriage is termination of pregnancy before 20 weeks.

The first and foremost symptom of miscarriage is vaginal bleeding. Apart from that it may also lead to breast pain. There is no need to worry about bleeding as it may continue for 1 week to 1.5 month. Depending on your menstrual cycle, normal periods may resume in 3-6 weeks.

Coming to breast pain, it occurs due to hormonal changes. It will subside soon and no need to take any specific medication. Generally breast pain starts after miscarriage due to hormonal imbalance and subsides after 1 month.

Coming to relieving your symptoms, you can follow the below plan:
1. Ice packs and a supportive bra may relieve discomfort
2. Apply any oil
3. Self-massage will be beneficial

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vamsi Krishna Chittimoju
